Our church has been doing special things for all of our parishioners who reside at the Veterans Center the last couple weeks. Some people have been asked to visit them, others to make cards, others to say a special prayer or dedicate a mass service to them. We randomly drew names from a basket with what task to do.
Wouldn't you know it, my task was to make our veteran a card. I made this card today in honor of the 4th of July for our veteran. My husband took our oldest to the Veteran Center to deliver the card and visit another member we also selected from the basket. The technique used on the card background is inlaid embossing. This is done with the Big Shot and an embossing folder.Products Used:
