Rag Bag Fabrics

I am preping all the fabrics for Saturday's Rag Bag Class this week. I have several different color combinations for people to choose from. This is a portion of what I have. There are still a few things hiding in my cabinet.

If you are attending the class and wish to reserve a particular color scheme, please send me an email with your request. Class participants are also allowed to bring their own fabric. Please let me know, so I can give you the measurements you will need. It is not too late to register for this class. I am extending the registration until Thursday. It is a great way for you to learn something new, have a special bag for use and to support The American Cancer Society all at one time. For more details on the class check out My Stampin' Up! Event Schedule.

School Days Rag Bag

I am really enjoying this project. I made this "School Day's" Rag Bag for my daughters teacher as her end of the year gift.
I still have a few spots left for the Rag Bag Class I am hosting on Saturday. Part of the class fee goes to the Relay For Life Team I am helping. For more information on the class, please check out My Stampin' Up! Event Calendar or email me for more information.

Summertime Spendor

Isn't this Designer Series Paper wonderful? Summertime Splendor DSP is only available as a digital download for My Digital Studio. These downloads can be used in any digital editing software. You can order the digital downloads online at My Stampin' Up! Website.

ONLINE ORDERING PROMOTION: I am giving 10% of all online orders between now and June 11th to The Relay For Life Team I am supporting that evening.

I used the green page from the Designer Series Paper as the background to my scrapbook pages. The photos are of my flower garden I planted last month. I wish the roses still looked that nice, but the heat all day and winds all night have taken their toll on them. The backgrounds are so beautiful by themselves, I just add a simple title using various fonts.

There are lots of other wonderful downloads available right now. Also be sure to check out the Clearance Rack for some fabulous items.

Rag Bag Class

I am holding a series of classes to benifit the Walk For Life for the American Cancer Society. Saturday May 29th is the Rag Bag Class. $10 of the $18 class fee will go to the Walk For life Team I am working with. All materials will be provided at the class. There will be several different styles of fabrics to choose from. If you are interested in bringing your own fabric you may. Tell me when you register, so I can give you the measurements you will need.
The Rag Bags are made with fabric cut with the Big Shot. They are one of those gifts that looks harder than it is to make. You do not need any sewing experience to be able to make one of these bags.

Here are a couple of Rag Bags I have made lately. The first one was for my son. The family roots for NASCAR #88 Dale Jr. My son carries his toys in the bag on occassion. He also puts a pull-up and wipes in the bag when we leave the house.

These are other samples I have made. The shorter ones are a great bag to carrie the necessities on errands. The larger one I use when I need to carry a few extra items with me out of the house.

I will also be raffling off a special "Breast Cancer Rag Bag" at the Walk For Life on June 11th.

Contact me by Tuesday to regisiter for this class. I am doing my best to accomodate as many people as possible since the proceeds go to a great cause. For more information on other classes to benifit the Walk For Life and the American Cancer Society, please check out my schedule of events here.

ONLINE ORDER PROMOTION: I am donating 10% of all online orders placed through my website too the Walk For Life Team. Don't forget to check out all the great items on the "Clearance Rack". There are some fabulous things there that match returning colors coming in July.
