Fifth Avenue Floral

I got the stamp set "Fifth Avenue Floral" the other day. Oh my, there are so many great things you can do with it. I had to send a note to one of the other parents at my daughters school. I made this card and it seemed perfect for anything. I could have put "Happy Mother's Day" on it. Or "Thank You", "Thinking of You" even "Get Well". The possibilities are endless.
The base of the card is Riding Hood Red. To get such a nice soft even tear on the Tangerine Tango, I first wet it with an aqua painter. I cut the end of the Kiwi Kiss Double Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon with my paper snips. I punched a small hole in the cardstock before putting the brad through the ribbon. The background is stamped with versamark and one of the smaller flowers in the stamp set. The main image is embossed with White Embossing Powder and watercolored with Riding Hood Red and Tangerine Tango. The leaves behind the flower are cut out with a sizzlet on my Big Shot.

I loved the way you embossed the outline of the rose. It really made the card "POP".
