New Color Collections
Yesterday I talked about the Color Renovation coming this July. Here is a look at the new Color Collections starting in July. I look at this chart and see myself using all the colors now. I will not have a sneak peak at the 2010-2012 In Colors until this summer.

Color Renovation--coming July 1st
Stampin' Up! just made one of the biggest annoucements I have ever seen and I didn't see it coming. A COLOR RENOVATION!!
IF YOU: Enjoy the In Colors each year and are sad when they retire....
Have been looking for a new fresh way to combine the colors we already have...
Find the current Bold Bright family too bright or the current Soft Subtle family too subtle...
These changes will make your eyes happy and you jump for joy.
On the other hand: For those who resist change, I am sorry. Still, I hope you give it time and see the benifits of the changes SU! is making. It is simply time to rearrange the furniture so to speak and give a fresh look to the colors we all love and some that we miss.
So what are the changes. Stampin' Up! currently has 48 colors, 7 neutrals and 6 In Colors. Starting with the 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog SU! will be changing to 40 Core Colors and 5 New In Colors. The new In Colors will be available for 2 years, with 5 new colors being introduced each year. So in the 2010-2011 IB&C there will be 45 colors total. In the 2011-2012 IB&C there will be 50 colors total. Then each year 5 In Colors will remain, 5 will retire and 5 new ones will be introduced.
If you have done your math they are going from 61 colors this year to only 45. So what happened to the rest of them. We are having a Fond Farewell to many colors. To help you plan here, I have listed all the colors that will be retiring at the end of the current catalog. You have until June 30th to stock up on these colors. Please keep in mind that retiring accessories are only available while supplies last. Supplies will last into June, but may not last till the end of June, so plan accordingly.
Starting with the 2010-2011 IB&C ALL COLORS will be available in cardstock, ink and MARKERS. For those who have some of the returning In Colors, they will also have a marker available. For those who like using Apricot Appeal for your flesh colors, it will still be available in a marker.
Check back later for a showing of the new color collections including a look at the new colors.
Personally, I welcome this change. There are many past In Colors that I have missed using and still have stashed in my file cabinet. There are also several colors that I don't use and are now retiring. I will miss a couple of them, as I am sure we all will, but I won't miss them for too long with 6 new Core Colors Coming and 5 more In Colors to start a fresh new Stampin' Up! year.
