Here's Another

I am on the "Pick-a-Petal" kick and using it for other items than flowers. Here is another.

The concept it the same as the butterfly from yesterday, use the petals to make the wings of the bug. The wings are stamped with the same outline doodle stamp in the set. This time I stamped them onto Rose Red cardstock. The body was formed with 3/4" circles cut from Old Olive cardstock. The antanea are drawn on with a black journaling pen.

The sentiment at the bottom is from the "Much Appreciated" stamp set. It is stamped in Basic Black on to the Whisper White paper. Using the color blocking technique from last week the final area of the card was filled in with a strip of designer paper from the Polka Dots & Petals collection. The dots on the paper are the same colors as the dragonfly and background cardstock.

Everything is then layered onto Tempting Turquoise cardstock.
